Head of Public Affairs at the Communications Regulatory Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina
Amela Odobašić is Head of Public Affairs Division of Communications Regulatory Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina since 2001. She both gained and practiced experience and skill in public relations outside Bosnia and Herzegovina in the post-conflict countries such as Iraq, Afghanistan, Somalia, as well as those of the Western Balkans. She obtained her degree in PR from the Chartered Institute of Public Relations in the United Kingdom (CIPR) in 2005. Besides CIPR, she holds membership in the European Association of Communication Directors (EACD) based in Brussels. She actively contributes to the work of the United Nations agency, International Telecommunications Union (ITU), acting as a Vice-chair from Europe in its strategic management body, as well as a rapporteur of the working group on ensuring ICT accessibility for persons with disabilities.
